Important Information
For optimal performance, avoid eating, drinking, consuming alcohol or coffee, smoking, or using oral sprays for at least 30 minutes before testing. Once the foil pouch has been opened, the test should be used within one hour.
Results should be interpreted between 5 and 10 minutes after testing and must not be read after 15 minutes, as this may lead to inaccurate interpretation.
OraPreg is intended as an aid to pregnancy detection and should be used strictly in accordance with the supplied Instructions for Use. Any positive, unexpected, or inconclusive result should be discussed with a qualified healthcare professional for appropriate follow-up and confirmation.
Oral Pregnancy Test Kit
An Alternative Approach to Pregnancy Testing
OraPreg offers pharmacies, clinics and consumers an alternative specimen collection option within the established pregnancy self-test category. By using saliva instead of urine, it provides an additional testing choice for individuals who prefer an oral collection method while maintaining the convenience of a rapid, qualitative hCG self-test.
Saliva-Based Pregnancy Testing – Simple, Accurate, Hygienic & First to Market
The OraPreg Oral Pregnancy Test Kit is a single-use, saliva-based self-test designed for the qualitative detection of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in saliva as an aid to the early detection of pregnancy.
Unlike conventional pregnancy tests that require a urine sample, OraPreg uses an absorbent oral collection pad to obtain a saliva specimen. The collection pad is gently rubbed along the inside of the cheeks and tongue before being placed beneath the tongue to complete sample collection. Once the sample has been collected, the test device is placed on a flat surface while the result develops.
Results are displayed using a simple line-based format and can be read within 5–10 minutes. A visible control line confirms that the test has functioned correctly, while the test line indicates the qualitative result according to the Instructions for Use supplied with the kit.
